Cashier/Service Crew

As a Cashier / Crew Member, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for customers by providing excellent service and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to menu-related questions.
• Ensure that customers feel welcome and valued throughout their dining experience.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payment methods.
• Ensure correct change is provided and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and report any discrepancies to management.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure that orders are correctly prepared and packaged.
• Support kitchen staff with assembly and presentation of menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Take customer orders accurately, either in-person or via phone, ensuring all details are captured clearly.
• Communicate orders effectively to kitchen and food prep staff.
• Ensure that orders are served on time and meet quality standards.
• Keep the front-of-house area, including counters, dining area, and restrooms, clean and tidy.
• Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed.
• Suggest menu items, specials, or upgrades to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Promote loyalty programs and special offers to encourage return visits.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• A friendly, customer-oriented attitude and team spirit.
