Job Summary:
The Catalog Specialist will be the guardian of our product information across all digital platforms. Based at our Sheraton Al Matar office, this role is essential for creating an engaging and accurate online shopping experience. You will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of product data on our website, from uploading new items and writing compelling descriptions to ensuring all technical specifications and high-quality images are correctly displayed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and update the online product catalog on the Shutter Shop Egypt website.
• Write, edit, and optimize compelling product titles, descriptions, and meta tags that are informative and SEO-friendly.
• Upload high-resolution product images, ensuring they meet quality standards and accurately represent the product (e.g., different colors, wood finishes, operation modes).
• Input and maintain accurate product attributes, including dimensions, materials, prices, and customization options.
• Categorize products logically to enhance the user experience and site navigation.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align catalog content with promotional campaigns and SEO strategies.
• Work with the sales and product development teams to ensure all new product information is added in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct regular audits of the website catalog to fix errors, update information, and remove discontinued items.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Catalog Specialist, Web Content Manager, or in a similar e-commerce role.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Shopify or WooCommerce.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, persuasive, and accurate copy.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
• Proficiency in image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for basic cropping, resizing, and optimization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
