We Are Hiring: Category Head – Apparels


We are expanding our global footprint and are looking for an exceptional Category Head – Apparels to lead the entire apparel vertical for Asia and Africa markets. This is a high-impact leadership seat for someone who understands global fashion intelligence and can convert it into commercial success across multi-market environments.

Job Description

Role Title: Category Head – Apparels

Location:   Dubai, UAE

Markets:    Asia & Africa


Role Mission

To architect and scale a world-class apparel category across diverse territories, driving design direction, range planning, pricing logic, and multi-market expansion while protecting brand equity and elevating commercial output.


Key Responsibilities

Category Leadership

• Build the long-term apparel category strategy and seasonal roadmaps

• Lead seasonal creation, trend mapping, and product architecture

• Ensure category relevance for Asia and Africa while keeping global benchmarks


Product & Market Alignment

• Lead trend mapping, silhouette direction, and assortment logic aligned with global fashion cues and regional preferences

• Work closely with the in-house design and production teams to provide market insights on fits, colour stories, styles, and category needs

• Collaborate on final product specifications, ensuring relevance for Asia & Africa markets

• Review prototypes and samples from a commercial and consumer-fit perspective, while the production team owns technical execution

• Guide range planning to ensure strong balance between core styles, fashion capsules, and seasonal demand


Merchandising & Commercials

• Lead pricing, markup strategy, and lifecycle planning

• Oversee buying budgets, forecasting, and SKU productivity

• Drive sell-through and retail performance across markets


Market Expansion & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Collaborate with retail, marketing, supply chain, and finance

• Build market-specific strategies for Asia and Africa

• Conduct competitor benchmarking and trend intelligence


Desired Profile

• 10–15 years in Apparel Category Management / Buying / Merchandising

• Strong global exposure (Europe/Asia/global fashion hubs preferred)

• Expertise in fabrics, construction, fit, and product engineering

• Experience scaling categories across multi-country landscapes

• Sharp commercial acumen with strong analytical depth

• Leadership presence and the ability to influence cross-region teams
