Category Head - Lingerie

Strategy & P&L Ownership

  • Own complete category P&L, including revenue, margins, and profitability
  • Define and execute short- and long-term growth strategy for the lingerie business
  • Set annual operating plans, budgets, and performance KPIs
  • Product & Category Management
  • Lead assortment planning across bras, panties, shape wear, sleepwear, and related categories
  • Drive product roadmap aligned with consumer insights, trends, and price architecture
  • Ensure strong fit, quality, and size inclusivity standards

Sourcing & Supply ChainSales & Go-To-MarketCustomer & Market InsightsTeam Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Oversee vendor selection, costing, and negotiations to achieve margin targets
  • Work closely with supply chain teams on lead times, inventory turns, and fill-rates
  • Optimize sourcing mix for cost and speed
  • Drive category performance across offline retail, market places and D2C
  • Partner with Operations team on launches, campaigns, promotions, and pricing strategy
  • Monitor sell-through, replenishment, and discounting effectiveness
  • Deeply understand consumer behavior, repeat cycles, and regional preferences
  • Track competition and emerging trends in intimate wear
  • Build and lead a high-performing category team
  • Work closely with design, marketing, finance, operations, and retail teams
  • Act as the single-point owner for lingerie business performance

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of experience in apparel / fashion / intimate wear.
  • Prior experience as Category Head / Business Head preferred.
  • Proven track record of scaling a category or business unit.
  • Experience across D2C, e-commerce, or Omni channel retail is a strong plus.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong P&L and commercial ownership mind-set.
  • Deep understanding of women’s lingerie category (fit, fabrics, lifecycle).
  • Data-driven decision making with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance brand building with profitability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
