Job Purpose
To
curate, optimize, and manage the pet product categories
on your app’s e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, competitive pricing, and strong relationships with pet suppliers/vendors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Category Strategy

Develop and execute
category growth plans
(food, accessories, health products, etc.).

Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to
optimize product assortment
.

Identify
best-selling and high-margin products
to prioritize.
2. Vendor & Supplier Management
-
Onboard and manage
pet shops, brands, and suppliers
onto the platform.

Negotiate
terms, pricing, and promotions
with vendors.
-
Ensure vendors comply with
listing standards, SFDA regulations
(for pet food/health products).
3. E-Commerce Platform Optimization
-
Work with the tech team to
improve UX/UI for product discovery
(filters, search, recommendations).

Ensure accurate
product descriptions, images, and SEO tags
.

Monitor
inventory levels
and coordinate with vendors to avoid stockouts.
4. Performance Analysis
-
Track KPIs:
Conversion rates, sales volume, average order value (AOV), returns
.

Use tools like
Google Analytics, Hotjar, or SQL
to derive insights.

Adjust strategies based on
customer reviews and feedback
.
5. Promotions & Marketing Collaboration

Plan
discounts, bundles, and flash sales
with the marketing team.

Coordinate with social media teams to
highlight trending pet products
.
Qualifications & Skills
Must-Have

3+ years in e-commerce category management
(preferably in
pet supplies, retail, or FMCG
).

Strong
negotiation and vendor management
skills.

Analytical mindset (proficiency in
Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI, or data tools
).

Knowledge of
Saudi pet market trends
and regulations (e.g., SFDA for pet food).
