Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic, analytical, and business-driven professional to join our Mobiles Category / Go-To-Market (GTM) team. The role offers a unique opportunity to manage end-to-end product lifecycle and business performance for one of the most exciting and high-growth categories in Indian consumer electronics.


Key Responsibilities


  • Product Lifecycle & Premium Portfolio Management

Manage end-to-end lifecycle for the Xiaomi Series – our premium flagship portfolio, covering concept validation, forecasting, launch execution, and lifecycle interventions. Align closely with product and HQ teams on roadmap, variant strategy, and premium positioning.


  • Planning, Forecasting & Inventory Control

Lead bottoms-up forecasting for Sell-In and Sell-Out aligned with AOP.

Drive JXC management to ensure optimal flagship availability across channels.

Monitor demand and premium-category trends to recommend timely allocation or production adjustments.


  • Pricing Strategy & Category P&L

Own pricing ladders and competitive benchmarking for the Xiaomi flagship lineup.

Define pricing actions, lifecycle pricing, and promotional constructs that strengthen Xiaomi’s premium value proposition while protecting margin.


  • Market, Consumer & Competitive Intelligence

Track premium smartphone competition, flagship launches, and category dynamics.

Use consumer insights, NPS feedback, and review sentiment to build counter strategies and refine product positioning.


  • Channel Collaboration & Premium GTM Execution

Work with Online and Offline Sales teams to execute flagship GTM plans, enabler programs, premium merchandising, and experiential placements.Evaluate ROI of premium enablers and campaigns; drive continuous optimization.


  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Brand Alignment

Collaborate with Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and After-Sales for seamless execution. Partner with Marketing to develop flagship messaging, hero feature narratives, and premium creative assets.


  • HQ Collaboration

Share market insights, competitive trends, and category performance with HQ.

Align on production planning, demand signals, and post-launch adjustments for the Xiaomi flagship portfolio.


  • Business Reviews & Leadership Reporting

Prepare crisp, data-backed performance reviews, forecasts, and risk/opportunity assessments.

Support strategy discussions through structured analytics and flagship category insights.


Job Requirements


  • 7–12 years of experience in Product/GTM/Category/Sales Planning roles, preferably within smartphones or consumer tech.
  • Strong expertise in pricing, gross margin management, inventory planning, and end-to-end demand/production planning.
  • Proven ability to manage Sell-In and Sell-Out plans across Online (Amazon, Flipkart, Mi.com) and Offline (GT/OT/Exclusive) channels.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret market size shifts, user insights, competitive trends, and category dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading major product launches and coordinating cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HQ).
  • Strong communication, structured thinking, and proficiency with Excel/Sheets and analytics tools; ability to operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
