Job Summary
The Category Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across pharmacy, OTC, and wellness categories on our e-commerce platform. This position entails formulating category strategies, enhancing product assortment, overseeing vendor partnerships, and delivering an unparalleled customer journey. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, in-depth market knowledge, and relevant experience in e-commerce or retail, ideally within the pharmacy sector.
Key Responsibilities

Create and implement category strategies that support overall business goals.

Administer pharmaceutical, OTC, health, and wellness product lines.

Discover and introduce new products, brands, and assortment expansion opportunities.

Lead supplier onboarding, conduct negotiations, and foster vendor relationships to secure optimal pricing, margins, and service standards.

Assess sales data, customer behavior, and market intelligence to enhance category performance.

Improve pricing structures, promotional activities, and discount plans to meet revenue and profit objectives.

Forecast inventory needs, manage demand planning, and collaborate with the supply chain to ensure product availability.

Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver campaigns and elevate customer experience.

Track key metrics such as sales, conversion rates, stock position, and profitability, and implement corrective measures as needed.

Guarantee adherence to pharmacy regulations and maintain quality benchmarks.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related discipline (MBA is an advantage).

36 years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product management.

Previous experience in e-commerce or retail; background in pharmacy or healthcare categories is highly preferred.

Excellent analytical thinking, negotiation, and communication capabilities.

Competence in Excel, Google Sheets, MIS, and analytics software.

Proven ability to juggle multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
