Category Specialist ( Handbags & Watches)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle for the category, from sourcing and selection to pricing and promotions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and new product opportunities within the category.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust product assortment and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and strategies to boost category sales.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels by analyzing sales data and working with the procurement team to forecast demand.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product launches in the Watches market.
  • Analyze customer feedback and sales data to continuously improve the product offering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or product management, preferably in the retail industry.
