Job Purpose:

To generate catering and event sales by building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, coordinating event requirements, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction from inquiry to event completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development:

Identify and target new corporate, wedding, social, and private event clients.

Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and property/site visits.

Build and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.

Prepare and present catering proposals, quotations, and event packages.

Follow up promptly on inquiries to convert leads into confirmed bookings.

Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets

2. Event Planning & Coordination:

Understand client requirements and provide suitable catering solutions.

Coordinate with kitchen, operations, logistics, and other internal teams to plan event details.

Assist in menu planning and customization based on client needs.

Ensure accurate event orders, timelines, and delivery details are communicated to all departments.

Conduct pre-event briefings and attend events when necessary.

3. Administration & Reporting:

Maintain updated client database and sales pipeline in CRM.

Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and revenue forecasts.

Ensure contracts, payment terms, and approvals are properly managed.

Follow company policies and guidelines for pricing and discounting.

4. Customer Service:Deliver excellent customer service to maximize client satisfaction and repeat business.Respond to client queries, complaints, or last-minute changes professionally.

Gather feedback after events to improve service quality.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, events, or banquet sales.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Knowledge of catering operations, menu planning, and event logistics.Ability to multitask and manage multiple events at once.Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.Dynamic, target-driven, and customer-focused.
