We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Catering and Events professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences and creative event solutions. As a Catering & Events Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and sales efforts of the Catering and Events department.
You will play a key role in achieving the hotel's sales and revenue goals by leading event sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring each event is executed to the highest standard of service and quality. whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
- Oversee all aspects of the Catering and Events sales function - from initial enquiry to event completion - ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, understanding their needs and providing tailored, creative solutions that exceed expectations.
- Monitor event production and adjust strategies to achieve departmental and hotel revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Food and Beverage Operations, and Revenue teams to maximize event profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Handle all incoming group and banquet leads, ensuring timely communication, negotiation, and contracting in coordination with the Sales division.
- Maintain and update the Sales & Catering PMS system in line with company policies and standards.
- Review and determine discount structures and pricing in coordination with the Revenue and Reservations Managers.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team to achieve excellence in service delivery and operational execution.
- Analyze feedback, performance data, and market trends to continuously improve the department's effectiveness.
