Catering & Food Truck Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and team-oriented Catering & Food Truck Assistant to support the daily operations of our food truck and catering services. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives in customer-facing situations, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Pay: $20–$25 per hour (based on experience) + tips
Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate as a cashier on the food truck, providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Assist with daily food truck operations, ensuring smooth and timely service
• Prepare, package, and label (sticker) orders accurately
• Support basic food prep and cooking tasks (cooking experience is a plus, but not required)
• Deliver catering orders safely and on time
• Set up and break down the food truck for events
• Assist with setup and organization for catering events
• Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including dishes, surfaces, and equipment
• Monitor and help manage inventory levels and restocking
• Assist the Catering Manager with all aspects of food truck and catering operations

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (for deliveries)
• Ability to lift and carry items as needed
• Previous food service or cooking experience is a plus
