The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing catering operations for events and daily services. This role ensures high-quality food service, excellent customer satisfaction, effective staff management, and adherence to budget, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage catering services for events, meetings, and functions
- Meet with clients to understand event requirements, menus, budgets, and timelines
- Develop menus in coordination with chefs and kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service standards
- Manage catering staff, including scheduling, training, and supervision
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Manage budgets, control costs, and prepare reports
- Handle client feedback, complaints, and service improvements
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff
Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events

Education & Experience:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Relevant catering or hospitality experience required
