The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing catering operations for events and daily services. This role ensures high-quality food service, excellent customer satisfaction, effective staff management, and adherence to budget, hygiene, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage catering services for events, meetings, and functions
  • Meet with clients to understand event requirements, menus, budgets, and timelines
  • Develop menus in coordination with chefs and kitchen staff
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service standards
  • Manage catering staff, including scheduling, training, and supervision
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and prepare reports
  • Handle client feedback, complaints, and service improvements
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events
  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Relevant catering or hospitality experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
