Role & responsibilities
- Admit and Registers patients by confirming patient identification; reviewing consultation requests; checking for special instructions; consulting with the physician.
- Comforts patients and their families by answering questions; responding to requests; explaining equipment and testing procedures; instructing and assisting patient in assuming physical position for examination.
- Conducts electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests by using electronic test equipment, recording devices, and laboratory instruments.
- Ensure getting informed consent before any procedure.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses during procedures such as coronary imaging including angiography, IVUS, FFR etc., percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), rotational atherectomy, peripheral angiography, and interventions for structural heart disease.
- Able to interpret basic ECGs and recognise cardiac arrhythmias.
- Monitor gauges, recorder and video screens of computer system during imaging of cardiovascular system.
- Provides information by maintaining laboratory records, such as, examinations performed and findings.
- Assist nurses with procedures, preparation and setup of cathlab.
- Places devices to monitor vital signs on patients, including blood pressure cuffs, cardiac monitoring electrodes, pulse oximeter sensors, etc.,
- Maintains cardiology and pulmonary equipment and supplies by cleaning, disinfecting and adjusting equipment; troubleshooting problems; performing preventive maintenance; reporting equipment malfunctions; arranging for repairs.
- Prepare reports of diagnostic procedures for interpretation by physician.
- Sterilizes and prepares rooms and equipment before and after each procedures as directed.
- Maintenance of therapeutic environment in the cathlab. Keep clean and tidy
- Maintaining supply inventory levels; completing and placing supply requisitions; restocking supply storeroom.
- Participation in professional activities
- Reporting any untoward incidents to department in-charge.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
- Position or transport patients to and from the cathlab.
- Maintains quality results by following standards and procedures; submitting reports.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Serves and protects the health care facility by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures.
Preferred candidate profile
- Preferred Male Candidate with BSc qualification
- Experience 3 to 10 years
- Should be flexible for on call duties

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
