About the Role:

Al Masaood Energy is currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated CATHODIC PROTECTION (CP Technician) to be a part of a great team based at Abu Dhabi, UAE. If successful, you will be responsible for welding projects base/site

Required Qualification:

The Candidates shall hold 3 years Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy or Equivalent Engineering Diploma with a minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil and Gas fields.

The scope, skills and experience of CP Technician shall cover the following:

• Cathodic protection systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic instruments.
• Cathodic protection surveys e.g. potential survey, close interval survey, ACCA/ACVG, DCVG Survey and interference tests.
• Good Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Standards
• CP systems equipment maintenance such as T/R, Solar CP Controllers, CP Solar Batteries and CP Cables.
• Conduct Soil Resistivity using Wenner Four Pin/Three pins or Geonic Survey using EM-34 as per specific field requirement Knowledge and Experience in installation of Various CP Anode Configurations, Reference electrodes and CP Coupons.
• Good MS Office, SAP, ONE APM and PC skills,
• Knowledge of AMPP (NACE), BS and ISO CP Standards is desirable.
• Shall have AMPP(NACE) certification for CP Level-1, however, CP Level-2 is preferrable
