As a key representative of Airgas, the delivery driver contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company provided tractor trailer, straight, or box truck. This position involves loading, unloading, and returning compressed gas cylinders while frequently connecting with Airgas customers.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies
Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers
Support deliveries in a timely manner
Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; we emphasize the physically active and hands-on nature of this position.

Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT
Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements
No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
