Odyssey Logistics is seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter to support CDL-A hiring across multiple terminals and markets. This role manages the full recruiting lifecycle—from lead generation and screening through onboarding—while ensuring candidates meet DOT and company safety requirements.
You will partner closely with Operations, Safety, and HR to maintain an organized pipeline of qualified drivers and help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.
This position requires someone who is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple driver openings across different lanes and geographic markets, and experienced using Tenstreet to manage recruiting workflows.
Location: Hybrid, remote on Friday
Schedule: Ability to support Central and Pacific Time hiring
What You’ll Do
- Source, screen, and recruit CDL-A drivers to support operational hiring needs
- Manage recruiting pipelines across multiple openings, lanes, and regions
- Utilize Tenstreet for lead management, application tracking, and driver communication
- Screen drivers for preliminary qualification including CDL class, endorsements, employment history, safety record, and DOT eligibility
- Partner with Safety and Compliance to ensure adherence to DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Follow up with applicants to ensure applications and onboarding steps are completed
- Re-engage previous applicants and drivers eligible for rehire
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity and pipeline visibility within Tenstreet
- Partner with operations leadership to understand hiring needs and market conditions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CDL-A driver recruiting experience required
- Demonstrated experience using Tenstreet to manage driver recruiting workflows
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and driver qualification standards
- Experience recruiting within transportation, trucking, or logistics environments
- Ability to manage multiple driver openings across different markets
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment
