Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Senior Driver to join our team. This role is a combination of lead driver responsibilities and operational support, spending approximately 50% of the time on the road making deliveries or training drivers and 50% in the office assisting with daily operations.

The Senior Driver plays a key leadership role in ensuring drivers depart on time each morning, supporting the operations manager, and stepping in to cover routes when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all drivers are prepared and depart on time each morning
• Cover delivery routes when a driver calls out or fails to report
• Train and mentor new and existing drivers on routes, procedures, and company standards
• Spend time in the office assisting the Operations Manager with daily responsibilities
• Help coordinate driver schedules and ensure routes are properly covered
• Maintain clear communication with drivers and management
• Promote safe driving practices and adherence to company policies
• Assist with general operational needs as they arise

Qualifications:

• 3+years commercial driving experience required
• Strong reliability and problem-solving skills
• Ability to step in and adapt quickly when operational needs change
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Valid CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work early morning shift
