CDL A Yard Jockey

- 10-hour days
- 3rd shift time: 6:00pm-4:00am
- Assigned set schedule is based on availability: Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday
- Paid weekly
Position responsibilities:
- The CDL A Yard Jockey is responsible for loading straps, racks, and shippers onto truck during the loading process
- The CDL A Yard Jockey will assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells
- This role ensures that the hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers as well as all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock
- The CDL A Yard Jockey maintains general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assists with replenishment of product in the warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Must be at least 21 years old
0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree
