CDL Class A Driver / Data Center Technician

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class A commercial vehicles to transport equipment, labor, materials, and tools to project sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, and inspection reports.
• Assist field crews with material handling and general site support when not driving.
• Operate or assist with heavy equipment when required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT compliance standards.
• Coordinate deliveries and transport schedules with project managers and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned vehicles and trailers.
• Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and jobsite personnel.
• Support jobsite activities including loading/unloading, staging materials, and site clean-up.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Valid CDL Class A license required
• Clean driving record required
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Experience transporting construction materials or equipment preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to work in outdoor construction environments
