CDL Class A Driver – Local (Home Daily) | Sod Delivery

Job Summary

We are hiring a CDL Class A Driver with a strong safety record to join our growing sod farm. This is a local driving position delivering sod throughout the DFW area. Drivers are home daily and operate late-model Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks with flatbed trailers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A flatbed truck
• Deliver sod to residential, commercial, and job site locations
• Load and unload product using a forklift
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain delivery paperwork and logs
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Provide professional customer service at delivery sites

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license (Required)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
• Experience with flatbed hauling, tarping, and strapping preferred
• Willingness to learn forklift operation
• Ability to work some weekends
• Dependable and punctual
