Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

• Modify, adjust, and monitor the delivery plan for multiple terminals on a daily basis
• Plans and executes delivery schedule to meet network requirements
• Uses and adjusts schedules and resources to identify and alter routes for special requests
• Assesses driver work assignments to ensure on time deliveries to all business units
• Executes workflow to minimize DOT Hours of Service Impact
• Coordinates and distributes work assignments to drivers
• Assigns tractors to drivers to ensure most efficient use of resources
• Responsible for data entry on driver manifests and updates for completed deliveries
• Review and process driver activity for proper payroll processing
• Analyze and resolve technical issues (Transportation Management System and On-board computers)
• Supports communication between warehouses, transportation terminals, and third party vendors to ensure service level expectations are met
• Escalates issues when resources do not meet business needs or demands

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Proven customer service experience - Required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated PC skills to include MS Office - Required
• Good written and verbal communication skills - Required
• Proven ability to work and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast pace work environment while maintaining attention to detail - Required
• Excellent time management skills - Required
• Ability to meet deadlines - Required
• Strong interpersonal skills - Required

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent - Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
• Sit for extended periods
• Work extended hours
• Work rotating schedules including nights and weekends
• Use arms / hands in repetitive motion during the day
