<Duties>

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, tankers, to transport freight efficiently across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo when necessary to ensure secure handling of freight
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while optimizing delivery times
• Secure freight properly for transport
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for all shipments and vehicle inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes or issues encountered during trips

<Skills>

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery using manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with operating tankers,
• Strong knowledge of load & unload procedures along with safety protocols for freight handling
• Ability to drive tractor-trailers confidently across various routes with efficiency and safety in mind
• Experience with operating a manual truck
• Excellent route planning skills to optimize delivery schedules and manage time effectively
• Clear understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards related to trucking operations
