As a CDL Driver at dnata Catering, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of catering trucks and other company vehicles. This role is essential to ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of aviation catering services. You will represent dnata with a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach when interacting with clients within the aviation industry. In addition to driving duties, you may assist with loading and unloading catering supplies, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and completing routine vehicle inspections. Strong attention to detail, strict adherence to safety regulations, and effective route navigation are critical to supporting the overall success of our catering operations
You Will:- Load and unload all carts, trash, and items to be laundered to and from catering truck to designated aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members.
- Coordinate with flight crew while maintaining positive customer relations.
- Perform all duties safely to prevent injury to self and others.
- Provide professional service to airline customers at all times.
- Ensure all flights are catered accurately and within required timeframes.
- Adhere to all HACCP, GMP, and sanitation policies to ensure proper food handling.
- Follow all Ramp Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required safety vests while on the airfield.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, with at least one (1) year of driving experience.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with air brake endorsement required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or airline catering environment preferred.
Requirements & Skills
- Ability to meet all requirements necessary to obtain a Port ID in accordance with TSA regulations, including 49 CFR §1542.209.
- Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire).
- Strong attention to detail.

Intellectual/Social demands:- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. Physical demands:- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds. Work environment:- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold/heat (weather), heights and loud noise (earplugs must be worn while on the Ramp)
