What You’ll Do
Responsible for all aspects of catering up to and including loading equipment on to the truck, driving the truck to the A/C, loading galleys according to customer guidelines, offloading dirty equipment, and placing dirty equipment and trash in designated area. Must adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines. Ability to interpret and comprehend Menu and Flight Galley Specifications. Follows all Ramp Safety and AOA Safety and Security Rules and Regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
- Must be able to walk/stoop/ bend/ stand for entire work shift
- Must have good organizational skills and adapt to frequent changes
- Must be able to pass a 10-year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- Must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lbs
- Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
- Must have a valid CDL driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Must have experience driving large delivery trucks
- Must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- Must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills with a professional appearance and attitude
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be able to apply safety standards
- Must be able to use mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
- Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
What You Need
Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record
Minimum 1 year of experience driving a box truck or similar large vehicle
Ability to pass:
Airport Security Screening
Pre‑employment drug test
Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport SIDA Badge
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically active environment
