CDL Roll Off Driver

• Safely operate a roll-off truck to transport and deliver dumpsters to designated locations as per the daily route schedule.
• Empty loaded dumpsters at landfills & transfer stations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, documenting and reporting any necessary repairs to maintain safety and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and clients to ensure timely pickups and deliveries, adjusting routes as needed for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maneuver and position the roll-off truck precisely to drop off or pick up dumpsters in various environments, including construction sites, residential areas, and commercial premises.
• Secure loads using chains, straps, or covers to prevent spillage or debris loss during transportation, adhering to all safety and environmental policies.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of equipment, including the roll-off containers and truck, to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
• Complete and submit accurate logs and reports related to miles driven, landfill charges, and customer billing information.
• Handle emergency situations or unexpected delays, such as road closures or accidents, by communicating effectively with team members and implementing contingency plans.

As a CDL Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for operating specialized roll off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your core skills in commercial driving and heavy lifting will be essential in executing daily routes. Your premium knowledge of mechanical systems and experience with various truck types will enhance your performance. Qualifications

• Valid CDL license required
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with roll off trucks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
• Familiarity with mechanical operations and maintenance of heavy vehicles
• Experience with roll off trucks is a plus
• Strong delivery driver background, including load and unload capabilities
