Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Job Summary
Responsible for the safe transport of various waste streams from industrial, commercial, and government work sites to designated landfills and Treatment, Storage, or Disposal Facilities (TSDFs). This role requires experience in diverse materials, from standard construction debris to regulated hazardous waste, while maintaining strict compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations. s.

Duties

  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, vacuum tankers, pushouts and tractor-trailers.
  • Waste Transport: Collect, load, and secure bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous materials for transport.
  • Landfill Coordination: Navigate disposal sites, interact with scale clerks, and follow site-specific instructions for dumping materials.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate driver logs (ELDs), waste manifests, bills of lading, and land disposal restrictions.
  • Safety & Inspection: Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; ensure proper placarding, marking, and load segregation for hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Licensing: Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferably with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements (often combined as X).
  • Experience: 2+ years of commercial driving experience, preferably in waste management or environmental services.
  • Certifications: Ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating manual transmissions and specialized hydraulic equipment.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Experience:

  • off road driving : 3 years (Preferred)
