CDL Truck Driver

SHAH Development, LLC is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a dump truck, transporting equipment using a day cab truck and trailer, and occasionally operating small equipment on job sites. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment supporting construction or site work operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris to and from job sites.
• Transport equipment using a day cab truck and trailer.
• Load, secure, and unload equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Operate small equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, or compactors as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and inspection reports.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with general site work when driving duties are complete.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, and job site personnel.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience operating dump trucks and hauling equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate or willingness to learn small construction equipment.
• Knowledge of proper load securement and trailer operations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job tasks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, excavation, or site development.
• Familiarity with skid steers, mini excavators, or other compact equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment checks.
