HASKELL LEMON CONSTRUCTION CO. IS SEEKING A WATER TRUCK CDL DRIVER (CDL A OR B AND TANKER ENDORSEMENT IS required)

As a Water Truck Driver, you’ll be:

·Operating a Water Truck, experience helpful but willing to train.

Operating other Heavy Equipment as needed.

· Operating hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.

· Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.

· Helping equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary.

· Loading, unloading, or identifying building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.

· Perform site activities required of green certified construction practices, such as implementing waste management procedures, identifying materials for reuse, or installing erosion or sedimentation control mechanisms.

· Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.

· Following instructions from supervisors.

· Performing site clean-up.

· Valid Drivers License - CDL Class A or B

Application Question(s):

• This position requires more than just driving. When the water truck is not in motion, you will be expected to work on the ground with the asphalt crew, which may include digging, sweeping, lifting heavy objects, operating heavy equipment and other manual labor tasks. Are you willing and able to perform both driving duties and physical labor as part of this role?
• Applicants must be available to work any day of the week and any shift. Shifts can range anywhere from 40 hours a week in the slower months to 60 hours a week in the busier summer months. Are you willing and able to work this schedule?
• What is your expected rate of pay for this position?
• Do you have an automatic restriction (E Restriction) on your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) which limits you to driving only automatic transmission vehicles?
