Cell Phone Repair Technician / Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are currently hiring for our Douglasville location. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling in a retail environment AND the ability to be successfully trained in device/cell phone repair.

Responsibilities and Duties

Customer Service / Sales:

Greet customers, determine needs and answer questions

Suggest sell add-on items, participate in retail store and commercial sales activities in order to achieve sales and profit goals

Ask questions to identify potential commercial customers

Operate computer/cash register to complete sales transactions with accuracy

Answer phones, ensuring messages are relayed

Assist in achieving retail and commercial sales initiatives

Watch for loss prevention issues and advise management of any unusual activities

Function as a team player doing whatever is necessary to help attain company goals

Demonstrate a customer first mentality

Merchandising / Inventory:

Rotate and stock inventory

Install batteries, perform tests and tech work

Load, unload, and deliver or arrange delivery of product to customers or via third party delivery companies

Organize daily recovery of displays to achieve full store appearance

Maintain retail shelf label pricing

Build displays; setting up & taking down shelves and fixtures

Prepare store for daily opening and closing

Maintain physical facility safety and appearance including: sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.

Maintain restroom cleanliness

Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Qualifications and Skills

H.S. diploma/equivalent and 6 months prior work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior retail experience desired but not required

Ability to gain quick and solid understanding of company's electronic retail and cross reference system; capable of adapting learning to incorporate new technology

Ability to make minor decisions and use some judgment within standardized procedures

Good listening and verbal communication skills with a customer focus; general knowledge of customer service policies/procedures

Must possess and use organizational and analytical problem solving skills

Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks to effectively prioritize, follow up, and meet deadlines with multiple tasks and projects

Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios and algebraic expressions and read gauges

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
