Cell Phone Repair Tech/Sales

Batteries Plus, the nation's largest and fastest-growing battery, light bulb, and device repair franchise, is seeking customer-focused, tech-savvy, and motivated individuals to join our team.

We are seeking a Full-Time employee, but we will consider part-time for the person with cell phone repair experience.

We are looking for someone that has experience with Screen and Battery Replacements/repairs for both Samsung and Apple Smartphones.

As a Cell phone Repair/Sales Associate you will pleasantly engage customers to understand their needs, and then provide knowledge and expertise to recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales

• Greet and assist retail and commercial customers with battery, bulb, and accessory needs
• Recommend solutions and educate customers on our products and services
• Suggest add-on items and upsell where appropriate
• Answer phones and handle POS transactions with accuracy
• Support local commercial sales efforts

Technical Services

• Install and test batteries in vehicles, devices, and equipment
• Repair smartphones, tablets, and other electronics (screens, batteries, ports, etc.)
• Cut keys and reprogram automotive key fobs
• Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques with hands-on guidance

Store Operations

• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and build product displays
• Open and close the store including drawer counts and daily reporting
• Participate in inventory control and loss prevention procedures
• Assist with deliveries and light facility maintenance

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of prior work experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales aptitude and customer service focus
• Mechanical or technical inclination
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use small tools and electronic testing equipment
