Central Supply Coordinator

Fairfax Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Central Supply Coordinator. The ideal candidate must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career and ensure that they maintain all par levels of quality medical supplies and equipment for the center. We are looking for a Central Supply Coordinator who is dependable, self-motivated, a team player, and flexible.

Duties & Responsibilities of Central Supply Coordinator:

• Provides input regarding organization, use and adequacy of general storage areas, maintaining storage practices in accordance with health and sanitation standards, inventory control and proper utilization.

• Facilitates interdepartmental cooperation in efficient purchasing and storage practices.

• Applies competitive and equivalent purchases practices.

• Develops and manages the system of purchasing all medical supplies and equipment.

• Participates in health-related programs which promote development and utilization of manpower and product resources.

Qualifications for Central Supply Coordinator:

• High School Diploma required.

• Proficient with the use of computers.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing and material management preferred.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with older adults in a manner that conveys warmth and professionalism.

Skills of Central Supply Coordinator. All qualified applicants should possess the following qualities:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
