Responsibilities
A. Operations & Patient Flow
- Ensure smooth functioning of OPD, diagnostics, pharmacy, opticals, OT and IP departments.
- Implement systems to reduce waiting time and increase patient throughput.
- Strengthen appointment scheduling and service delivery for maximum footfall.
B. Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Monitor daily revenue, conversion ratios, and profitability across departments.
- Increase OPD to surgery conversion through seamless counselling and coordination.
- Implement strategies to improve opticals, pharmacy and diagnostic revenue.
- Identify new opportunities such as camps, corporate tie-ups, insurance partnerships, and specialty clinics.
- Reduce revenue leakage through strict audit systems and billing accuracy.
- Improve OT utilization rate and maximize the number of daily surgeries.
- Work closely with marketing to increase patient visits & brand visibility.
C. Staff Management
- Manage front office, nursing, technicians, housekeeping and support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing based on patient flow.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations & productivity optimisation.
D. OT & Clinical Coordination
- Manage daily surgical schedules with surgeons & OT team.
- Ensure OT readiness, sterilization, consumable availability & compliance.
- Improve OT turnaround time to increase number of daily procedures.
E. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to NABH/NABH-Eye standards.
- Conduct audits, implement corrective actions & maintain safety protocols.
- Monitor infection control & biomedical waste management.
F. Inventory & Cost Control
- Avoid overstocking or stock-outs of lenses, consumables & medicines.
- Coordinate procurement to optimize cost and reduce wastage.
- Ensure timely maintenance of biomedical equipment and AMCs.
G. Patient Experience
- Handle complaints, feedback & grievance redressal.
- Implement service excellence standards for improved patient satisfaction.
- Train FO & nursing staff on communication & customer care.
H. Reporting & Coordination
- Conduct daily huddles with department heads.
- Prepare MIS reports: revenue, patient flow, OT utilization, expenses, etc.
- Coordinate with COO for planning & strategic decisions.
Experience in Eye care hospital mandatory
Experience 10+ years required
Good communiction and leadership skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
