Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction, operational performance, growth, and governance of the asset management company. The CEO will oversee investment management, business development, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and organizational leadership to ensure sustainable growth and superior client outcomes.
The CEO serves as the primary representative of the company with investors, regulators, stakeholders, partners, and the Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the company’s long-term vision, strategy, and business objectives.

Drive growth across asset classes, investment products, and market segments.

Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.

Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
Investment Oversight

Provide executive oversight of investment strategies and portfolio performance.

Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and investment committees.

Ensure investment activities align with client mandates, risk appetite, and regulatory standards.

Promote disciplined investment governance and performance management.
Financial & Operational Management

Oversee the company’s financial performance, budgeting, profitability, and capital allocation.

Ensure operational efficiency and scalable infrastructure.

Lead digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance metrics.
Regulatory & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and governance requirements.

Maintain strong risk management and internal control frameworks.

Build and sustain relationships with regulatory authorities and external auditors.

Promote ethical standards and a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Client & Stakeholder Management

Strengthen relationships with institutional investors, high-net-worth clients, and strategic partners.

Represent the company in investor meetings, conferences, media engagements, and industry forums.

Leadership & Culture

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Minimum of 15–20 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, private equity, or financial services.

At least 7–10 years in a senior executive leadership role.

Strong understanding of investment management, capital markets, portfolio management, and financial regulations.

Proven track record of business growth and leadership in financial services.
-
Experience managing institutional and/or private wealth clients.
