Position Summary: The Certificate Processors are responsible for issuing new and renewal certificates. They review, compile, and deliver information critical to providing exceptional service and business support for commercial lines clients.

Essential Tasks:
- Responsible for issuing new and renewal certificates for commercial line clients.
- Provides customer service for insured parties requesting certificates of insurance
- Reading & interpreting data to compare against policy guidelines
- Utilizes the agency management system (Applied Epic), spreadsheet software and word processing software to obtain insurance data and issue certificates
- May review insurance contracts to determine type of certificate and required information
- Initiates communication with Account Managers and others to obtain information
- Processes and prints insurance documents
- Prepares documents for mail

Location:
- Remote from anywhere in the Continental United States
Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of insurance experience required, commercial lines specific experience preferred
- Ability to enter, transcribe, store and maintain data electronically
- Ability to evaluate information against a given standard
- Ability to work under stress in a high volume environment
Licensing and Credentials:
- Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required (company will help candidate obtain licensure if needed)
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
- Working knowledge of CSR24 is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
- Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person
- Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key
- Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions
