Certified EMT-Medical Transport

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified EMT to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their safety, comfort, and punctuality. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and following all traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the ride.
• Assist patients with boarding and deboarding the vehicle
• Maintain a professional and caring attitude toward patients at all times.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure that the vehicle is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate logs of transportation activities, including patient details and mileage.
• Ensure all safety and regulatory guidelines are adhered to during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and healthcare providers to coordinate transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Certification as an EMT-Basic from an accredited program. must have
• CPR/First Aid certification. must have
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a transportation or healthcare-related role is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a caring, empathetic attitude toward patients.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Physical capability to perform essential duties, including lifting patients and equipment as necessary.
