The Blue Giraffe is looking for a Certified Esthetician to bring your passion for skincare, beauty, and wellness to our team of highly qualified, experienced professionals. You will provide exceptional skincare treatments that range the possibilities of offerings in the field. Your expertise will help elevate our clients’ experience, ensuring they receive top-tier care in a welcoming environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills while making a positive impact on every individual who walks through our doors. We offer HydraFacial services and training will be provided for the right candidate.

*Weekend and afternoon availability is a must*

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, high frequency, oxygen infusion, peels and body waxing with precision and care.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide expert advice on skincare routines and retail products to boost client satisfaction and sales.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning treatment areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to clients’ needs, offering personalized recommendations, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Coordinate with all spa employees and management as part of our team effort to go above and beyond.

Requirements

• Collaboration with all team members to provide exceptional service and positive work environment.
• Valid cosmetology license with certification as a licensed esthetician in good standing.
• Proven experience performing microdermabrasion, body waxing, facials, and other skincare procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients about treatments and product options.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
• Ability to perform retail sales by recommending suitable skincare products tailored to individual needs.
• Passion for continuous learning about new techniques and industry trends to deliver innovative services.

We Offer:

• Starting commission of 28% for services with a cap of 33%
• Signature service commission set at 35% (what is your specialty?)
• Set add-on commission of 55%
• Retail commission of 10%
