Certified Medical Assistant

KCUC is a large urology, oncology and radiation private medical practice seeking a Certified Medical Assistant. You will work collaboratively with our doctors, nurses, and other medical assistants, providing exceptional care to our patients.

You will be responsible for helping maintain efficient flow of patients through the clinic. You will also contribute to patient care by preparing patients for visits, accurately maintaining patient electronic medical record, organizing clinic and or exam rooms, phlebotomy, adequately monitoring office and clinic inventory supplies, and assisting nurses and other KCUC team members as necessary.

Additional responsibilities:

• Performs vital signs, height, weight, and screening procedures, and document in medical record
• Performs duties such as greeting patients, pre-certification of tests, procedures, and medications processing insurance forms, and answering phones.
• Electronically submit prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies
• Maintain drug and equipment logs
• Perform procedures as directed

Travel between multiple Locations is possible for this position.
