Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in outpatient clinics. This role involves supporting physicians and healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery. Candidates with Primary Care experience as a Certified Medical Assistant will play a vital role in enhancing patient experiences through compassionate service and precise clinical support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Support physicians with clinical tasks such as pap smear, medication administration, wound care, scribing.
- Operate and maintain EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and ICD coding
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance strategies
- Perform basic administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Allergy Testing.
Skills
- Proven experience in outpatient clinics
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical administrative support functions
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
- Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs collection, medication administration, Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience supporting internal medicine,
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is preferred; prior experience outpatient clinics is required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
