Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Come join our team! Rheumatology Associates P. C. is a healthcare organization specializing in the treatment of over 100 arthritic and autoimmune related diseases. We are located on the north side of Indianapolis, conveniently located near I 465 and North Meridian Street. We are currently looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with a comprehensive understanding of the assessment and support activities related to general nursing and a demonstrated commitment to safety and compassionate patient care.

This position is responsible for the performances of basic nursing type duties including, but not limited to, execution of physician orders, triage assessment, and assisting the physician with examinations/treatments. Also performs technical/clinical procedures within the scope of their certification.

Successful candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a related clinical environment or physician office; possess a current Medical Assisting Certification and a certification in basic life support. Candidates must also demonstrate good communication skills and computer literacy. Experience in Rheumatology related practice with related EMR competency is preferred.
