Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist patients in a friendly, supportive manner
- Check patients in for appointments and scan documents into charts
- Assist with registration forms and distribute medical records
- Collect and post copayments and outstanding balances; balance cash drawer daily
- Inform patients of care costs and collect required fees
- Assess walk-in traffic for potential emergencies
- Communicate patient needs to clinical staff
- Answer phones professionally and route calls appropriately
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Keep reception and waiting areas clean and sanitized
- Provide coverage for medical records and prior authorizations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people from all backgrounds
Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills, and internal equity and falls within an established range.
