Here are some ways you’ll serve patients:
Critical monitoring, like obtaining blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels – so we can better assess patient health
Transport patients to appointments and procedures – to get them the right care at the right time
Interact with patients to promote comfort, and express compassion, and empathy as they heal
Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely
Assist with activities of daily living – things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing, themselves. This can include eating, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting and more.
Schedule:
Part-Time 48 hours every two weeks
Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7am-7:30pm and 7pm-7:30am (you would be working a combination of both shifts)
Every 3rd weekend 7am-7:30pm
Rotating Holidays
Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience.
Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hour
Benefits include medical, dental, vacation accrual, retirement, and employee discounts.
Qualifications:
Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry.
Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.
