CNA Duties

• Assist licensed nurses and healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care across various settings such as acute care, rehabilitation, and long-term care facilities.
• Learn and perform vital signs monitoring, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature measurements.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility assistance using equipment like Hoyer lifts, and catheter care.
• Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to ensure seamless communication among care teams.
• Participate in infection control practices by adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and safety.
• Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's/dementia care, memory care programs, behavioral health support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Hybrid Classes

• 5 Weeks
• Online Coursework (Must complete by end of week 4)
• Hands-On Labs (4 days, 8:00am - 4:00pm)
• 2 Clinical Days (1 Weekend)
• Certification Test Prep

• 1:1 Mentoring

• Access to Internet and Digital Device
• Negative TB Skin Test
• No Criminal Background History
