Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medical Assistant – High-Acuity Home Care

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate CNA or Medical Assistant for a high medical needs, one-on-one home care position. This role is ideal for someone who is clinically competent, emotionally steady, and skilled in working with patients who have communication impairments.

This is not a routine care position. It requires patience, intuition, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care for a medically complex individual
• Support daily living activities with attention to dignity and comfort
• Assist with medical needs (experience with diabetes management, ostomy care, or similar is strongly preferred)
• Communicate effectively with a patient who has difficulty expressing needs
• Monitor for subtle changes in condition and respond appropriately
• Collaborate with family and care team with professionalism

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant certification
• Proven experience with high-acuity or medically fragile patients
• Demonstrated ability to work with nonverbal or communication-impaired individuals
• Strong emotional regulation and patience under stress
• Reliable, accountable, and detail-oriented

Position Details:

• One-on-one care in a home setting
• Shifts include a mix of 7–3 and 3–11 (some days 7–3 and some days 3–11)
