Certified Pharmacy Technician

Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at a behavioral health facility in Murfreesboro, TN.

This is a Full time position: 40 hours/week, alternating weekends

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred, Omnicell a plus.
• Hospital Experience preferred.
• Active registration with Tennessee Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume.
• National certification preferred

SKILLS

• Unit dosing of oral medications
• Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
• Removing outdated drugs
• Proven experience as pharmacy technician
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
