Description of role:

We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will process and fill prescriptions at our Batesville store. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician, you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers. Our store hours are 8:30am - 6pm on Monday-Friday and Saturday's 9am - 2pm. Your schedule will include 36-40 hours per week including up to 2 Saturdays per month. Travel to all Ripley County stores maybe required as necessary (Batesville, Milan, and Versailles).

Tasks:

• Accurate medication counting and packaging
• Computer input
• Selling durable medical equipment
• Checking inventory
• Balancing cash drawers
• Making deposits
• Generating reports
• Other office duties

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience at a retail pharmacy
• RX30 software experience is preferred
• High level of care and compassion for others
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective communication
• Organizational skills
• Ability to recognize opportunities for improvement
