Job Summary and Qualifications

Under immediate supervision of the Pharmacy Supervisor and/or Staff Pharmacist performs tasks involved in the preparation and distribution of medications checked by a licensed Pharmacist.

What qualifications you will need:

• Required: State Board of Pharmacy registration; National Pharmacy Technician Certification (e.g. PTCB) within 6 months of hire or State Board of Pharmacy Intern
• 2 years health-system experience
• Purchasing and inventory management experience; pharmacy automation technology (e.g. Pyxis, AcuDose, Omnicell)
• Preferred: Technician training program
