Certified Public Accountant

This Senior Accountant will lead key aspects of month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while ensuring SOX compliance and audit readiness. The role has a strong focus on data analytics and ERP systems, requiring the extraction and analysis of large datasets to support strategic decision-making. This individual will oversee inventory and manufacturing cost accounting, including standard cost variances, absorption costing, and inventory valuation, partnering closely with Operations, FP&A, Procurement, and IT to provide actionable financial insights. Additionally, the position supports process improvements, system enhancements, and continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and controls in a hybrid two-days-remote work environment.

Must

• CPA with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of progressive experience, including Big 4 or large public accounting audit combined with relevant industry experience
• Experience pulling financial data from ERP systems - SAP preferred
• Strong ability to leverage data analytics and visualization tools to solve problems and communicate insights effectively
• Demonstrated interest in using technology to enhance financial processes and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage time effectively, work under tight deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, changing environment

Plus

• Industry experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Medical sectors

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
