Full-Time Accountant (CPA Required)

The Salt Lake Board of Realtors® is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, monthly reporting, and key accounting functions for our organization. This is a hands-on role offering meaningful responsibility in a stable, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and daily transactions
• Manage accounts payable, deposits, and general bookkeeping
• Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting
• Support tenant billing and contract compliance
• Assist with payroll processing and employee records
• Coordinate annual audit and maintain financial records
• Prepare and file annual tax return for a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, dependable, and takes ownership of their work. You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the organization’s overall operations.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
