Certified Public Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive accounting expertise to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic financial analysis. Your proactive approach will support our organization’s growth through meticulous financial management, detailed audit processes, and innovative tax planning. Duties

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tax accounting responsibilities, including preparation of tax returns, planning for estate taxes. Prepare 1040s, 1120s, 1120,1065, 1041, 706 returns
  • Perform detailed account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger accounting to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support mergers & acquisitions activities through due diligence, financial analysis, and integration planning.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, and other financial tools for bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial report writing.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Accountant with tax experience.
  • Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting with a strong background in tax experience and technical accounting standards.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance procedures, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks platforms; familiarity with financial software for asset management is advantageous.
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform account analysis effectively.
  • Knowledge of debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and account reconciliation techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in audit procedures and financial report interpretation.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks including accounts payable processing, payroll management, and general ledger reconciliation while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
