About the Role-
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support the financial operations of a fast‑growing security company. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands‑on experience with Paychex Flex and QuickBooks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Maintain and oversee company financial records, ledgers, and statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Reconcile payroll data from Paychex Flex and integrate with QuickBooks
- Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost‑saving opportunities
- Work closely with management to support operational and financial decision‑making
Requirements
- Active CPA certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Extensive experience with Paychex Flex and QuickBooks (non‑negotiable)
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in service‑based or security industry is a plus
