Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Security Company

About the Role-

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support the financial operations of a fast‑growing security company. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands‑on experience with Paychex Flex and QuickBooks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full‑cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll reconciliation, and financial reporting
  • Maintain and oversee company financial records, ledgers, and statements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Reconcile payroll data from Paychex Flex and integrate with QuickBooks
  • Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost‑saving opportunities
  • Work closely with management to support operational and financial decision‑making

Requirements

  • Active CPA certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Extensive experience with Paychex Flex and QuickBooks (non‑negotiable)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in service‑based or security industry is a plus
